KEPS signed `Best Solar Energy Storage System(ESS) Management contract` on February 27.

The project is to build 7.5MW PCS and 30MWh batteries at the Best Solar Energy Power Plant located in Haenam County, South Jeolla Province. The contract amount is KRW 35.25 billion.

Hankuk Plant Service(HPS) and the Hyosung consortium will join as co-support to invest KRW 152 billion to complete the installation. KEPS will take charge of operation and maintenance(o&m) services.

The o&m services will be commenced in June 2018 and will be completed in June 2033.
